Alastair Campbell and celebrity leukaemia survivors ex-England footballer Geoff Thomas and Oscar-nominated composer Patrick Doyle launched the Big Five-0 Challenge for Leukaemia & Lymphoma Research at Somerset House.
Alastair says: “It is never easy for charities to ask for money and it is certainly harder with the current economic situation. But good causes do not go away with bad times. On the contrary, the need becomes greater.
